Connie Mullis is a Charlotte native who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Foods, with a dietetic concentration and a minor in Health Promotion from Appalachian State University.
During her time at Appalachian State she traveled to Costa Rica to learn about organic and sustainable farming practices and how that relates to the wellbeing of the community. She also served on the Appalachian Student Dietetic Association’s Maternal Nutrition Committee, as well as volunteering at the Boone Senior Center, as well as F.A.R.M. Cafe, Feeding All Regardless of Means. She completed her undergraduate internship at Holy Angels, Inc. in Belmont, North Carolina assisting the differently abled before obtaining her Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered credential.
Connie’s goal is to continue to further her education in becoming a Registered Dietitian as well as pursuing accreditation in Functional Nutrition.
She educates the patients in our community on the power of nutrition and lifestyle modifications on quality of life, while also considering the entire root cause of dysfunction.
When she is not working she is exploring all that Charlotte has to offer, spending time outdoors, loving on dogs, or checking out the newest restaurants. We are excited to bring her unique personality and enthusiasm to Dilworth Functional Wellness and to assist you towards living your most vibrant life.
